The Factory

Every BJ bar in Pattaya calls itself a gentlemen’s club. The Factory is one of the few that actually earns it. This is the most comfortable spot on the road by a distance, somewhere you would happily sit and drink even without the other reason for coming.

It is the space that does it. Out the back there is a real garden and a pool, and with a snug main bar up front the place has become a daytime base for expats who turn up, sink into it and stay the afternoon. The owners recruit well too, pulling in a well-reviewed, popular lineup. Take a look at the photos on their Google Maps page and you will see the point.

Rooms are upstairs, and short time runs a bit dearer here, 1,500 to 2,000 baht, which is the surroundings and the girls talking. It is one of the few bars in this category with a proper website, thefactorypattaya.com, where they pitch themselves as a gentlemen’s club with a club room, garden and pool.

You will find it on Soi Bongkot 8 beside Carre Blanc, sharing the eastern Pattaya road with Red House, 007 and Pirates.

The verdict

Garden, pool, cosy bar, popular lineup. The most complete hangout of the lot and the only bar that genuinely pushes Red House for top spot in town.
