Quick tips before you book
- Bangkok has two airports. Suvarnabhumi (BKK) handles most long-haul flights; Don Mueang (DMK) is the budget-carrier hub. Both reach Sukhumvit in 45-60 minutes. Check which one your fare lands at before booking a tight connection.
- For Pattaya, fly to Bangkok. U-Tapao (UTP) is closer on the map but has few routes. A Bangkok flight plus a 2-hour transfer is almost always cheaper and easier.
- Phuket (HKT) is direct-reachable from many hubs, no Bangkok connection needed for a Patong trip.
- High season is November–February. Fares climb from October; the rainy months (June–October) are markedly cheaper and the nightlife runs year-round.

Get online the moment you land
Grab a Thailand eSIM before you fly and you skip the airport SIM queue. Data works the second your plane touches down, so Grab, maps and messaging are ready before you clear immigration.
