Soi 6

Soi 6 is Pattaya’s daylight outlier: roughly 400 metres between Beach Road and Second Road with more bars per metre than anywhere else in the city: one census put it at 91 bars in December 2025, with high-90s counts reported by mid-2026. These are small open-front hostess bars, not gogos: no stages, no cover charge anywhere, and a crowd that builds while every other zone is still asleep.

How the street runs

The clock is the thing to understand. Most bars open between noon and 1pm, the street peaks from mid-afternoon to about 8pm, and it winds down by 1–2am. Soi 6 is busiest before Walking Street even opens. Bar groups (Nightwish, Better, Baba and Panda among them) run a sizeable share of the street, which is why pricing and house rules feel set per group rather than per bar; the rest are independents.

What to expect

Beers run ฿80–130, dropping to ฿60–80 in the afternoon happy hours; lady drinks are ฿120–210 and bar fines ฿400–700, lower than any gogo zone. The street is built around short visits rather than long sessions, so know what it is before you sit down. Two rules matter more here than anywhere: confirm prices before ordering, and no filming: phone-out video gets a sharp reaction, drunk-tourist incidents have gone viral for the wrong reasons, and a September 2025 city inspection of the street found zero violations across 300+ staff checked, so the bars guard that reputation.
