Kittens Bar

Kittens is the new kid on Soi 13/2 and you clock it the second you walk in. Clean fit-out, decent furniture, none of the worn-out gloom that hangs over most bars of this kind. There is even a big TV wired to a laptop so the girls and the punters take turns pulling songs off YouTube. Someone clearly cared when they built the place.

The girls are the real reason to bother, though. They are attractive and they switch on the moment you sit down, which is not something you can say about the tired old joints further down the lane. You order a drink, look over who is around, and either wait for one to drift over or just pick the one you fancy.

One catch: there are red couches at the back, but Kittens makes you go upstairs to a room for the actual business rather than letting you have it where you sit. A minor hassle, and plenty of guys prefer the privacy anyway.

Walk into Soi 13/2 from Second Road (locals call it Soi Post Office, after the post office on it) and Kittens turns up about 50 meters down on the left. The Pump Station faces it across the street, so do the pair in one go.

The verdict

Prettiest girls on the lane in the freshest room on the lane. The trip upstairs is a small price, and Kittens is the one stop here you should not skip.
