Excite Club

Excite Club gets the basics right where flashier bars fumble them. It is a small, intimate place just off Soi Buakhao with a couple of curtained niches, so privacy comes built in rather than as an afterthought.

The staff carry it. They are friendly and they try, with none of the hard sell you cop elsewhere in town. Once a customer is in they close the main curtain at the door, and the whole bar turns into one private little space. The music stays low too, low enough that you can actually talk to your girl instead of yelling over a speaker. It all adds up to a calm, easy hour.

Prices sit at the gentler end, 800 baht for oral and 1,300 for short time. For a quiet session around Buakhao with no fuss, it is a safe shout.

You will find it on Soi Chaloem Phrakiat 23, better known as Soi Excite, two minutes off Soi Buakhao and about 50 meters down on the right. King’s Club waits at the far end of the same soi.

The verdict

Small, private, low-key, friendly, fairly priced. One of the more relaxed bets off Soi Buakhao.
